Bad Voters..BAAD Voters

Posted by Diane C. in California at 13:09
Don't you just hate that? You get up on a Sunday morning, start up the coffee maker and get the paper. For those of us in San Francisco, it's the Chronicle. You're having a nice Sunday morning and then you are reading an article calling you an indecisive twit who votes for "names" instead of a good candidate and you are ruining California.

Well Ms. Media Person...it wasn't me who made California political reporting ALL about Arnold. I've been wondering about these candidates myself and the "close your eyes and point" seems a good method to me. That's considering the information that I have at my disposal.
The information in the print and the Internet media can be distilled down to two points.

The candidates are spending an awful lot of money.
The TV ads and the direct mailers are getting nasty.

What's in the stump speeches and why the ideas presented may be good or bad just does not seem to make an interesting story. I have been looking around the web trying to find a blog that covers California politics and I can't find one. Not one that follows my criteria. First, the blog can't be all about the present movie star governor. Second, it should not be affiliated with a MSM outlet or a political campaign. Third, it can't be about one issue. That's my criteria and I can't find one.

So maybe I'm just a twit who can't use the web. I'm getting out the tarot cards and my lucky tea cup.
